This policy explains what happens to your personal information when you use kwevhoselectrical.co.za. We have written it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because it is short: the only information we collect is what you type into the enquiry form yourself.

Who is responsible

Kwevhos Electrical and Project Pty Ltd is the responsible party for your information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

When you fill in the enquiry form we collect only the fields on that form:

  • Your name or company name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to give it
  • The service you are asking about
  • Whatever you write in the message box

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, your ID number, banking details, or any other sensitive information through this form.

What we do with it

Your enquiry is emailed straight to our own mailbox at info@kwevhoselectrical.co.za. We use it to reply to you, quote on the work, and arrange a site visit if one is needed. That is all.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it out, and we do not add you to a marketing list. We only pass it to someone else if we genuinely need to in order to do the job you asked about, or if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for two years from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner than that at any time, and we will.

Tracking and cookies

This website does not track you. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording, and the site sets no cookies of its own.

The page does load its typefaces and icons from Google Fonts and the Cloudflare CDN, which means those two companies can see the IP address of the device you are browsing from. That is a normal part of how the fonts get delivered, and neither of them receives anything you type into the form.

Links to other places

Our site links out to Google, WhatsApp and TikTok. Once you follow one of those links you are on their platform, under their privacy policy, not ours. Reviews you write about us on Google are published by Google, and are governed by Google's terms rather than this policy.

Keeping it safe

Your enquiry is sent to our mail server over an encrypted connection, and the mailbox it lands in is password protected. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us and we do not keep it anywhere it does not need to be.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information of yours we hold
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete it
  • Stop using it for a particular purpose

Email info@kwevhoselectrical.co.za and we will action it. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. This version applies from the date shown.
