The other side of the work
When the whole crew goes out
Some jobs do not fit on a roof. This one is a transformer with the medium-voltage cables being dressed up and terminated into the bushings, surge arresters set above, and most of the team on site at the same time; half of them working off ladders.
Industrial work runs on somebody else's clock. A plant, a shop, a whole block sits without power while we are on it, so the shutdown gets planned, the materials come with us, and the terminations are made right the first time. Hard hats on, and nobody alone on a live structure.
Transformer installation, three-phase reticulation, a line that has been tripping for weeks: the same standard we bring to a house, and the same certificate at the end of it.
- 01Site assessment, scope and planned shutdown window
- 02Transformer, terminations and protection by qualified hands
- 03Testing, energising and COC sign-off
